1. Monprea (Monument to the
People's Struggle)
When visitors visit Mopera
(Monument of People's Struggle), they can see clearly the monpera wake which
has a shape resembling a five-crowned jasmine flower. The Jasmine flower symbolizes the sanctity of the hearts of the
fighters, while the five sides depict the five presidential regions that are
incorporated in the South Sumatra Sub-Komandemen. While the path leading to the
main building of Monpera amounts to 9, namely 3 on the left side, 3 on the
right side, and 3 on the backside. The number 9 contains the meaning of
togetherness of the people of Palembang known as "Batang Hari
Sembilan". In addition, there is a puffed chest of garuda Pancasila on the
wall of the main building of Monpera.
2. Elephant Ivory
When you pass through the main
gate, visitors will find elephant tusks made of cement and sand castings. The
ivory symbolizes the struggle of the people of South Sumatra like a dead
elephant leaving ivory. When you visit monpera and take a close look at the
elephant tusks written inscriptions and numbers of the year of inauguration of
Monpera.

In addition to the meaningful
moumen, monpera also provides play facilities for children in open spaces to
the public in the monpera area itself. therefore, visitors do not have to worry

7. Cannon
In front of the monpera building, visitors will see the cannon on display, this is evidence of the history of the
independence process itself. So no wonder the cannon becomes one of the
monuments in the Palembang Monpera. The Mariam in the monpera is a 25 PDR
Cannon with one year of manufacture: 1941, Country of Origin England, weighing 100kg,
2350mm long, with an effective firing range of 12.25km. From his sala country, we know that Indonesia itself is colonized by the British state.
